The smash hit 2003 comedy returns for a 20th Anniversary screening at the Virginia Theatre – part of the Rewind 92.5 Movie Series!
Enthusiastic (but struggling) guitarist Dewey Finn (Jack Black) gets thrown out of his bar band and finds himself in desperate need of work. Posing as a substitute music teacher at an elite private elementary school, he exposes his students to the hard rock gods he idolizes and emulates - much to the consternation of the school's uptight principal (Joan Cusack). As he gets his precocious charges in touch with their inner rock 'n' roll animals, he pursues redemption at a local Battle of the Bands.
Starring Jack Black, Joan Cusack, Mike White, Miranda Cosgrove, and Sarah Silverman.

Very much in the spirit of School of Rock, First Gig Rock Camp is a six-day destination camp for youth aged 10-17 years who love music and are ready for the band experience, including the thrill of performing live in front of an audience.
